Chelsea and Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office are investigating a two vehicle accident that occurred this morning around 2:15 AM. The collision occurred near the MBTA Commuter Rail Tracks on Everett Ave. Officers and EMS responded to the accident and report three persons were injured; two were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and are currently in surgery. A third injured person was taken to Whidden Hospital in Everett for non-life threatening injuries. Investigators and the state police accident reconstruction unit are working on determining the cause of the accident. No names of those involved are being released at this time.
