Chelsea Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted for questioning in separate early morning assaults on two woman. Both incidents occurred in the Central Ave Shurtleff Street area of the city.
The first event took place on July 7th at 6:30 AM on Central Ave near the Logan Airport parking garage. That suspect is described as a tall, thin male who wore a blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black and white Jordan sneakers. That suspect had a goatee and mustache and is seen talking on his phone in the in the photo. The suspect followed the victim on Central Ave toward the garage before the assault.
The second incident occurred on August 19th at 1:30 AM on Marlboro Street. In this case, the male suspect followed the victim from the area of Central Ave and Shurtleff Street before assaulting victim. That suspect was described as a Hispanic male, thin build, approximately 5’8″ tall and clean shaven. The photo shows him wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans with white spots and red shoes.
The Police have increased patrols in the area and have conducted a thorough review of area video surveillance as part of the ongoing investigation. Police warn anyone to be cautious when walking alone in the early morning hours and to be aware of their surroundings and to call the police if they see any suspicious behavior.
